On The Spot is looking for professional, reliable people who love animals to join our pet sitting/dog walking team. This job is better suited for candidates who live in the Smyrna, Vinings, Marietta, Sandy Springs, or Buckhead areas. All applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be good with animals, able to assess an animal’s behavior, and know how to react accordingly.
  • Must be dependable, responsible, honest, and able to follow directions.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle large dogs.
  • Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Must have reliable transportation and own a cell phone with internet access and texting capabilities.

Dog Walkers

On The Spot is looking to hire professional, reliable, dog walking specialists who are able to work independently, are detail oriented, and take direction well. This is a great opportunity for those who love dogs, love spending time outdoors, and are looking to fill some time during the day. In order to be considered for the position of professional, independent dog walker for On The Spot, you must live in the area of West Cobb and be available to work Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm.

Pet Sitters

On The Spot is looking to hire professional, reliable, independent pet sitters to join our team. In order to be considered for the position of pet sitter you must live in the area of West Cobb and be available to work during Thanksgiving week and/or Christmas Eve and Day and New Year’s Eve and Day. Availability to do overnight visits is a plus (between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.)
